Boksburg

The city of Boksburg falls within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality on the East Rand of Gauteng, it was named after the State Secretary of the South African Republic, Willem Eduard Bok. The city was established in 1887 after gold was first discovered there and was originally established to service the surrounding gold mines. Kempton Park

Kempton Park is an area based in the Gauteng province within the Ekurhuleni Municicpality. The city was formally established in 1903 after the subdivision of  Farm Zuurfontein into 216 residential stands.
